We at Fairview Health Services are looking for a Registered Nurse at our Princeton Clinic. This position is approved for 80 hours every two weeks and is benefit eligible! The M Health Fairview Princeton Clinic is based in a rural community allowing our staffing to form long term relationships with our patients as they will see them multiple times over the years. This clinic cares for a wide range of patients and is a growing practice.

Responsibilities Job Description

The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional care for patients in an ambulatory setting. While following established standards and protocols, the RN delivers care that is unique to all ages served by the clinic. The RN provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established nursing standards and practices. As a member of the patients care team, the RN supports quality patient and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the team and patients/families. The nurse will educate patients and the public about various medical conditions, maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.

  • Provides care according to the plan, in accordance with all policies, procedures, and relevant nursing practice guidelines, Involves the patient and other health care team members in assembling data

  • Identify outcomes that are age appropriate, culturally appropriate, realistic, and attainable

  • Coordinates nursing care with all other health team members

  • Modifies the interventions based on patient response and changing conditions

  • Prioritizes work based on acuity, provider schedule, available resources, and patient/support team preferences, in conjunction with the provider

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota RN License

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of previous healthcare experience in ambulatory care settings

  • Basic Life Support Certification

  • Willingness to work at various sites is encouraged
