The Program Assistant assists the Director in the efficient operation of the Activities program. Encourage socialization and assists in planning and implementation of programming needs of individual participants and groups and assist with personal care duties. Responsible for ongoing charting and case management. This is a part time position, Monday-Friday 1:00 - 5:00pm.

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Ability to provide direct care for the residents

  • Assists with leisure programs and activities

  • Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of tenants/residents

Qualifications

  • One to three years' previous experience preferred

  • Ability to work independently

  • Desire to work with seniors
