Fairview Health Services is looking for a driven Registered Nurse to join the hard working team at our Ridges Women's Health Clinic located in Burnsville, MN.This position is approved for 68 hours every two weeks and is benefit eligible! Responsibilities Job Description

The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional care for patients in an ambulatory care setting. While following established standards and protocols, the RN delivers care that is specific to the ages served by the clinic. The RN provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established nursing standards and practices. As a member of the patients care team, the RN supports quality patient and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the team and patients/support network. The nurse will educate patients and the public about various medical conditions, maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.

  • Involves the patient, support network, and other health care team members in assembling data

  • Identify outcomes that are age appropriate, culturally appropriate, realistic, and attainable

  • Provides care according to the plan, and in accordance with all relevant policies, procedures, and relevant nursing practice guidelines

  • Coordinates nursing care with all other health team members

  • Systematically and continuously evaluates patient’s response to interventions

  • Modifies the interventions based on patient response and changing conditions

  • Prioritizes work based on acuity, provider schedule, available resources, and patient preferences, in conjunction with the provider

  • Performs technical procedures, including medication, as defined by clinical setting

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota RN License

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of previous healthcare experience in a clinic or OBGYN/Women's Health setting

  • Basic Life Support Certification

  • Willingness to work at various sites
