We at Fairview Health Services are looking for a driven Registered Nurse at our Eagan Clinic. This position is approved for 72 hours every two weeks and is benefit eligible. The Eagan Clinic is one of our largest clinics in the Fairview system. This site is a teaching facility with a resident clinic as well as Med student program and a Model Clinic for our Primary Care Service Line. We are a New Clinic with an improved layout and design. This is a stand alone clinic in a growing business area with phenomenal shopping, restaurants, and walking paths. We also have free parking and easy access to major roads and highways. Responsibilities Job Description

The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional care for patients in an ambulatory setting. While following established standards and protocols, the RN delivers care that is unique to all ages served by the clinic. As a member of the patients care team, the RN supports quality patient and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the team and patients. The nurse will educate patients and the public about various medical conditions, maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.

  • Provides care according to the plan, in accordance with all policies, procedures, and relevant nursing practice guidelines. Involves the patient, their support network, and other health care team members in assembling data

  • Identify outcomes that are age appropriate, culturally appropriate, realistic, and attainable

  • Coordinates nursing care with all other health team members

  • Modifies the interventions based on patient response and changing conditions

  • Prioritizes work based on acuity, provider schedule, available resources, and patient preferences, in conjunction with the provider

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota RN License

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of previous healthcare experience in ambulatory care settings

  • Basic Life Support Certification

  • Willingness to work at various sites is encouraged
