The Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Performs clerical and receptionist duties for the nursing units and may assist in the management of central supplies for nursing. Position located in Edina, MN
80 hours per two weeks
Day Shift
On Call rotation every third weekend
Aurora on France is a new, innovative senior community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. Located conveniently near Hwy. 62 and France Ave. and is on a bus line. Aurora has 136 units offering a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. Responsibilities/Job Description
Performs clerical and receptionist duties
Maintains current chart according to chart order policy/procedure
Transcribe MD orders per facility policy
Participates in audits or surveys designed to measure quality care and service
Assists in the functions of nursing supply
Qualifications
One to three years previous experience preferred
Health Unit Coordinator Certificate or training preferred
Long Term and/or Transitional Care experience preferred
