Overview
Ebenezer Aurora on France Assisted Living in Edina, MN is seeking a Housekeeper ! This role provides a clean, safe, and cheerful environment for senior age residents, staff, and visitors.
This full-time Housekeeping /Cleaning position includes:
64 hours every two weeks
Day Shift Hours; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Every other weekend
Fully Benefit eligible; https://www.ebenezercares.org/employee-benefits (paid personal time, matching retirement monies)
Aurora on France is a new, innovative senior liviing community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. Located conveniently near Hwy. 62 and France Ave. and is on a bus line. Aurora has 136 units offering a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. Responsibilities/Job Description
Performs thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops hard floor surfaces, dusts and/or damp wipes surfaces, sanitizes bathrooms, cleans all glass windows/mirrors.
Demonstrates precautionary work practices for the safety of others in the work areas, such as electric cords, wet floor signs, etc
Maintains housekeeping cart and storage area on daily basis and communicates supplies that need to be re-stocked
Performs job duties safely, using accurate body mechanics and protective equipment
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
Ability to work independently, show attention to detail, multi-task and maintain confidentiality
Able to understand and follow verbal and written communication including policies/procedures and safety sheets
Preferred:
- Work experience in cleaning or similar environment
