Fairview Health Services is looking for a RN in our Medical Specialties department at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. This is a casual non-benefit eligible position.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
Station 66 is a busy and challenging 48 bed Medical Unit including 18 telemetry beds known for its superb teamwork, sense of family and camaraderie. We are flexible, try new things, and are continuously learning and improving. We work hard together and we have fun together.
Committed to providing exceptional experience and high quality patient outcomes to those we serve. As an interdisciplinary team we collaboratively care for a variety of patient populations from acute illness to chronic disease management.
Specializes primarily in the adult medical population with a sub-group of substance use disorder

MN RN License
One year of current RN acute care Med/Surg or RN Behavioral Health
BLS for Health Care Provider
Must have at least one year of current acute care RN experience in the Med/Surg Medical unit OR a 300-320 hour paid internship with Fairview Health Services.
Recent within one year med/surg RN experience.
