Fairview Health Services Medical Assistant - Pediatrics $1000 sign on bonus in Elk River, Minnesota
Fairview Health Services is looking for a Medical Assistant to provide professional, quality care to patients in the ambulatory setting.
Join our clinics in a Pediatrics setting! As a member of the care team, the Medical Assistant supports quality patient and family centered care principles through performing a variety of high level functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/families.
This position will work primarily in Elk River and Princeton.
To be successful the Medical Assistant must:
Room patients, take vitals and health history, document in an electronic medical record, give injections and assist with minor procedures
Gather information and documents to support the patient visit
Be responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines
Promote teamwork with all members of the health care team
Maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (or be a current LPN within Fairview)
Current BLS certification required upon hire
Previous experience in a clinic setting
Willingness and ability to work at other locations
