Fairview Health Services Physician - Internal Medicine in Hibbing, Minnesota

Fairview Range is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join our growing group of multi-specialty providers at the Fairview Mesaba Clinics in Hibbing, MN. Be part of an outpatient primary care practice with the opportunity to perform procedures, stress tests, sutures, etc. Opportunity to also do ER Call!

Our internal medicine department is supported by a larger multi-specialty clinic structure and works collaboratively with 22+ physicians and 16 NP/PAs in these specialties: pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, family medicine, otolaryngology, orthopedics, general surgery and geriatrics. Consulting physicians are available in neurology, cardiology and oncology. Ties to the University of Minnesota strengthen the ability to access University of Minnesota specialists for questions or phone consults. Many other subspecialists are available through extensive outreach programs.

Internal Medicine clinic is co-located within the 175-bed hospital in Hibbing. Manage complex patients, internal medicine patients and provide consultant services to Family Medicine, Orthopedics and Surgical patients.

  • Call Coverage: Call schedule is equitably shared, ER call is optional.

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency training program.

  • BC/BE with the ABMS

  • Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.

  • Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.

  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
