Fairview Health Services Physician - Radiation Oncologist in Maplewood, Minnesota

Practice Description

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join our practice at our Cancer Clinics at M Health Fairview Maplewood and M Health Fairview Woodbury campuses . This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a comprehensive, patient-centered care team within a renowned health system.

Practice Details:

  • Join a team of 3 Radiation Oncologists.

  • Call Frequency: 1:3

  • Opening: .8 FTE

  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside a highly skilled and established team of radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, gynecological oncologists, and palliative care physicians.

  • Academic Affiliation : Opportunity to become an adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota. Based on applicants’ interest this could include being involved in resident recruitment, didactics, opening joint trials, collaborating on studies, and having residents rotate during training.

  • University Partnership: Collaborate closely with the University of Minnesota Radiation Oncology faculty to deliver seamless patient care and engage in professional development opportunities.

  • As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care.

  • Fully integrated Varian Enterprise and Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Radiation Oncology residency training program.

  • Board Certified with the ABMS

  • Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.

  • Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.

  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

  • Experience preferred but new graduates also considered.
