Fairview Health Services Secretary 2 in Maplewood, Minnesota
Provides secretarial support to the department.
This is a part-time, benefit eligible opportunity (0.55 FTE, 44 hrs/ pay period) to work 1pm-5:30pmMonday - Friday in our Spine Center.
Types memos, documents, reports, committee minutes, etc., for the department's director and staff
Attends meetings and takes minutes to ensure an accurate record of meeting. Prepares meeting materials for department staff
Maintains and updates computer files, lists, etc. to ensure accuracy of files, lists, etc
Updates and maintains policy manuals for the department to ensure manuals are complete and up to date
Assists department with special projects ensuring project deadlines are met and materials are complete
Compiles data for department statistical reports so that the director may develop reports regarding department function, services, etc
Schedules appointments and maintains calendar for director in order to maintain schedule for director
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements
Performs other responsibilities as needed/assigned
High school graduate or equivalent
2 years directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and database
