This position is responsible to collaborate with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to generate, manage and organize the ongoing administration and maintenance of payor contracts and duties associated with payor contracting and analysis. Coordinate the production and maintenance of payor contracts and related compliance and business continuity functions. Provide project management support for department leaders.

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Coordinate the preparation and revision of communications, contracts and related documents to potential and existing payors.

  • Coordinate with colleagues from payor relations, contracting, finance and operations to clarify and communicate issues and concerns related to payor contracts and related documents.

  • Audit information submitted on the approved forms for document generation and load into Inmar and other management tools and systems.

  • Maintain payor data in contract tracking systems and databases to ensure data integrity.

  • Coordinate and manage online payor documentation files including payor contract library.

  • Responsible for all payor contract related program documentation.

  • Support audits, compliance projects, process evaluation and improvement initiatives, and routine reporting.

  • Ensure Contract Manager is informed of contracting related project status and deviations from standards.

  • Update Contract Manager and other appropriate colleagues throughout the system of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management of contracts.

  • Utilize contract templates and standards processes under the direction of Revenue Management, Contracting, Legal and Compliance departments.

  • Maintain potential, contracted, denied and correspondence records for all related contracting opportunities.

  • Maintain and update payor contact lists.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree.

Experience:

  • Part of a team supporting business processes.

Preffered Experience:

  • 3 years related experience. Preferrably with insurance company/payor or health care provider system.
