Responsibilities/Job Description
As a Registered Nurse with Ebenezer Senior Living, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and health needs of residents are met. Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining accurate assessments and documentation of resident health status through progress notes
Implementing new and updating current resident care plans
Coordinating resident health services with internal and external providers, obtaining necessary orders
Leading and supervising the timely and accurate administration of medications and treatments
Providing support to the Director of Health Services
Monitoring the work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff
Qualifications
Required:
Current MN RN license or by start date
BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currentlyenrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must beobtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independentpractice
AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
Preferred:
Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
