Ebenezer Resident Assistant in Minnetonka, Minnesota
Overview
Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with benefits and hourly wages ranging from $20.90 - $26.00 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.
Additional pay when working evening/overnight shifts!
Amira Choice of Minnetonka Senior Living is looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior residents’ physical and emotional well-being for our Assisted Living with Dementia Care Building in Minnetonka, MN. As well, will be trained upon hire to pass medications. This role is supported by our nursing team and DHS RN leader. NO CNA/NAR is required, unless under 18 years old.
This caregiver schedule includes;
30 hours every 2 weeks, part-time schedule
Evening shift; 4:00pm-9:00 pm 5 hour pm shifts
Every other weekend rotation Satuday/Sunday and holiday rotations

Responsibilities/Job Description
Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
Assists with onboarding of new staff
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Ability to communicate optimally, with compassion and patience for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
CNA certified if under 18
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course
Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
