Fairview Health Services Data Analyst I in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Responsible for managing and maintaining Credentialing database and software applications. Develops and maintains customized reports, including Business Objects reports (Crystal). Serves as security administrator for credentialing database used throughout Fairview Health Services and its affiliates. Writes data queries. Researchs data issues and determining the root cause and possible solutions.
This position will be moving to Columbia Heights in June.
Maintains and supports queries and reports from the credentialing database for needs throughout the Fairview system.
Build/test new reports according to departmental, accreditation and system needs
Develops and maintains report documentation
Partners with IS to research and resolve questions around reports
Alters query variables in order to generate more complex or ad-hoc reports as requested to meet immediate needs of customers
Creates and maintains electronic forms
Manages and maintains Credentialing database and software applications and relational databases
Updates tables, data fields and system controls within the database as well as the software applications
System Security administrator for all departmental applications
Monitors and maintains system security for compliance with departmental, corporate and accreditation standards and participates in all security audits as well as maintains established security reporting
Provides accurate and consistent information to customers
Makes the customer and their needs a priority in all interactions
Demonstrates a consistent sense of urgency and follows up on open issues to ensure resolution
Maintains high level of customer support through teamwork and communication
Utilizes appropriate resources to locate solutions
Escalates problems and issues as appropriate
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
6 years related experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree.
Certification in Data Analysis field or Personal Computer Technology Support; CPCS Certification from NAMSS
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio. Experience with SQL, DMLand Crystal reports. Experience in using and developing computer system applications. Experience in webpagedevelopment.
The ability to efficiently read and write SQL/PLSQL. 3 years experience and knowledge of credentialing.Knowledge of MSOW software.
Strong Customer service skills. Ability to train others on applications. Ability to analyze large amounts of data, comprehend relationships and identify trends/issues/opportunities.
