As a member of the interdependent team led by a designated RN, assists with the achievement of patient and unit outcomes by performing patient care duties and activities for a group of patients. Creates an atmosphere of hospitality on the unit and contributes to efficient unit operation by carrying out unit activities.
We have four part-time, benefit eligible opportunities to join our mental health in-patient unit working overnights during the week, every other weekend, and rotating holidays.
Demonstrates commitment to the universal guiding principles of the patient care model in order to achieve the HealthEast Nursing Vision
Supports the Nursing Process to achieve outcome focused patient care
Communicates effectively with patient/family, the interdependent team and other disciplines regarding the care of the patient
Achieves customer service excellence by understanding the needs of all internal and external customers (patients, families and physicians)
Documents patient information in EHR and/or other electronic system in accordance with program standards and department policies and procedures
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements
Performs other responsibilities as needed/assigned
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Chemical dependency or related field
1 year experience in Mental Health
