Fairview Health Services is seeking Nurse Practitioner to join the Urgent Care and Emergency Department team at Fairview Lakes Medical Center.
Join a team of 5 APP’s and 14 MD’s
Fairview Lakes Medical Center is a 65 licensed bed facility
Level IV Trauma Center
Annual Urgent Care volumes: 15,000
Urgent care department sees an average of 34 patients per day and is staffed by two Advanced Practice providers (NP or PA)
Urgent care is open 12PM-8PM daily and is adjacent to the ED
APPs also staff the ED Monday through Friday, 10AM-6PM under the supervision of Emergency Physicians concurrently staffing the department
ED volume is 75 patients per day with triple or quadruple coverage during APP shift
Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Family Nurse Practitioner training program.
BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC
Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).
A minimum of 2 years of NP experience is preferred. New grads who have completed an Emergency Medicine Residency will be considered.
